+1 on the reamer, I use the Kyosho 4.05mm to ream out my new arms. The little reamer is dialed, a very valuable tool to have!

Oh yea Mel, I am going to enjoy running over that nice pink paint job of yours.

Thanks for the photos, I think I might have to try it. What did you use to chuck up the hub? Have you had any issues with the thinner wall thickness breaking? I like the idea of the larger bearing!

i just made up a rod with a 3/4inch end on it and jammed the hub on then boared it out
as long as the bearing is a tight/neat fit you wont have any trouble with the hub breaking.

i had one of the 1st ones i done and the bearing was a little sloppy in the hole. that slopyness got abit bigger but the hub didn't break

the other thing i have noticed is if you only machine in 4.8mm from the face of the hub so that the bearing sits proud 0.2mm it takes up some of the slop on the driveshaft/axle movement

as i said earlier i was mega pissed when i had this bearing go in my new car during the semi final at the state titles. i had the same problem on my old car and i had fixed it on that car but i had ignored it on the new one. i never blew a rear bearing again after making this mod on the old car and if sure it will be the same on the new car.

hey integra have you heard anything from robert about 8B 2.0 and 8T 2.0 carbon towers. i have emailed him a couple of times and he never responds.
i am currently running the old versions on both my cars with new body mount holes i drilled on the truggy but i really want to update ASAP. i cant play with the roll centers using the old towers as only the standard setup holes line up. ive had a lot of runtime on his towers and they havent failed yet with my kamakazi driving style yet i've broken 2 of the new front 8B 2.0 towers and 2 of the old 8T rear towers.
have you heard from or spoken to him lately?
