I ordered the buggy 2.0 also from hobbytown and the rear shock shaft was the same way.sent it back and drove the 2.0 truggy the next day. Wasn't impressed. Sorry guys but I don't think the losis are what they use to be that is why I bought another 1.0. No quality control. They are trying to push them too fast

Keep and eye on the f/s forum, I may be listing an " 8t 2.0 starter kit" before I even get the truck.
Because of some shock bottoms being pulled off? seriously? thats like a $10 fix at the most. And a really easy one. IMO this is the kind of stuff you have to expect with a prebuilt truck.

Thats exactly how mine was. I couldn't leave it like that so I borrowed the shop tools and threaded back on before I left the hobbyshop. Going to see if the sales rep sends me new parts as promised.

I had the same problem. When i opened the box the front left shock was already apart. both the rear ball ends were stripped aswell.
So i replaced all 4 of them with the OFNA Super Big Bore ball ends and spring retainers

Heres how mine painted up

Joe, you know you can call me and I'll try to find out for you. At any rate the large shipment of 2.0 T's are showing out for delivery in Charlotte this am I would assume most guys trucks will go out later today(depending on what time the driver shows).

I'm sure Jon is sorry about your wait but he can only take them in order by date ordered. He had a pretty high quanity of orders on this truck so he was sending in extra orders to meet his demand. So that week you just had the truck sitting in your cart cost ya! lol...it will be merry christmas time soon! Hang in there

The 2.0 utilizes several things. It has many durability improvements, and improvements that allow you to drive harder and faster. Keep this in mind when saying that it is not "that" much better.

Most guys are not using the "full potential" of even the 1.0, with that how can you evaluate the "full potential" of the new truck? I'm a fairly new driver and I know this. I get the truck because it's new, more durable, etc. Guys who are top level racers in their region or area, even our national best are the guys who could "honestly" say if it's better or not.

These trucks have barely been in your hands for a few days yet racers are making comparisions already. How do you in just a few days have it all worked out, broken in, set up perfect for your personal ability? I just think it's much to soon to make that call. I would give it a few race weekends maybe more to get it all dialed in to my liking before I made the call.

Jeremy, that does not sound like a "QC" issue to me. Although things can happen Losi works really hard to make sure you guys get a great experience. Sounds like some boxes got roughed up to the point that the zip ties were broken and the truck was bouncing around. I would still make sure the droop is set correct from the factory. If the load is taken of the shock by the set screw even if it came loose in shipping that should not have happened. Make sure to give losi a call.

You have had your truck three days? How many times have you driven it? Did you change the setup at all?

Let me know what area you are in, maybe Losi has a driver who can help you get it dialed in If setup how you like it the truck will be nothing short of amazing I would give it just a few more outings before making up your mind.

Yeah. Unless the pics arent actually of the new car, that is just the old 8ight-e, nothing 2.0 about it.
