The JC body isn't even a good fit. it sits wide on the guards and the stupid shapes on the back make it hard to get the body pins in and out.
It wasn't designed for the 8T 2.0. it fits the AE truggy better than the losi |
i dont have fit issues
|
its not fit issues. it does fit.
i just dont think its a good fit. the losi body hugs the guards to prevent mud comming up through the sides the JC body sits very wide of the guars and allows crap to get in i have painted and fitted a lot of bodies to a heap of different brands. it seems that its a commen fault on the JC designs. they always sit wide of the guards on nearly all of there designs. they make some great looking bodies but they should put more time into making them fit snug rather than making them look good in the end its each to there own. id rather spend the extra on the stock losi body that fits correctly rather than the JC that needs to be reworked to fit aswell as the stocky |
Tix mate you like the losi bodies cause you dont need to cut out the holes  anyway how you been the track looked good on your last meet

Since we are talking about clutch and shoes had a interesting problem I primarily run on a very high grip surface with the M2C four shoe setup after my previous breakdown I replaced both bearing everything was in order but after this past Sunday I broke down again and my 5 x 13 bearing was complete stuck on the crank shaft it took an hour to release with some heat. Question I know the avid revolution bearing are good but from the heat off the clutch / motor it seized on the shaft. How do i prevent from happening cause it was a Bitxx. I was running 2 black 2 green with medium light shoes.
Hrmm...good question...might be the bearing it self that was faulty and caused it to seize...ive actually come across some Avid bearing's that Will Not fit over the crank...like the inner race was not machined properly...SO you might have gotten a tight one and once it got hot from the high stall clutch it seized....I personally run .9's on my .21 in truggy with M2C on Reg hard and Lite med....i think it was a fluke...try again and let us know. |
Matty!!! your body arrived so ill get onto it next week. it;ll be the best 2 colour fade you've ever seen. its taken years to perfect it!!!
i beat trev last weekend at castlemaine, he was running my second 2.0. he's a hard man to beat at castlemaine, its his best track. Im not sure yet but i think i may have also stolen Adam Alexanders heat time record aswell. he's done 12/6m18.101s amd i think i did it in 6m17, still waiting on the results to come up |

I was wondering what the difference between having your bump steer up or down and what the advantages and disadvantages of having it either way are. It seems like more people run it down then up.
Thanks Shawn |

Bobby I run the losi quickchange mount and use an ofna truggy start and it works great. I see you are in alabama, where exactly I live just outside of birmingham
Where do you usually race Jason ygpm |
A little tip that may help some out. I have heard a couple issues with the axle set screws that hold the wheel hex pin has been rounding out when dis-assembling. Try a 2.0mm good quality hex driver instead of a 5/64ths. The 2.0mm fits tighter in the hex.
