I have an ST-RR and have been wondering what would running standard buggy hubs with zero offset rims be like? Would it free up the truggy in tight technical tracks or would narrowing the truggy make it unstable?

Narrow is fine man...No matter what you're still wider than a buggy because of the long truggy arms. You'll be fine runnin narrower. Probably will handle tight stuff better.

Just be careful you might get some rubbing with the front wheels. I tried to narrow my Koytoy rig up and I have rubbing issues!

Agreed...I've stripped many buttonheads in my day with cheap allen keys...Definitely gotta spend a little money on tools.
