I have an ST-RR and have been wondering what would running standard buggy hubs with zero offset rims be like? Would it free up the truggy in tight technical tracks or would narrowing the truggy make it unstable?

Just be careful you might get some rubbing with the front wheels. I tried to narrow my Koytoy rig up and I have rubbing issues!

I couldnt do that on my mugen or losi either without some rubbing but it wasnt too bad.

I'm running 0 offset wheels with stock hubs and lpr bowties on my xt8 and no rub for me.
