that's why you contact your local PD the sellers local PD get complaint #'s and forward it all to the FBI internet fraud division.

He threatens to give negative feedback to the buyer so most don't file the negative feedback. Plus he has changed his ebay account alot. This will bite him in the ass someday. My guess is he has a drug problem. If he is just screwing people, than that makes it even worse.
I am not a member of S-Grid and Neo. So maybe one of you guys can post there and keep those threads bumped. More we can get this out the more it will eventually hurt him.

I've purchased about 3 bodies from this guy off ebay, most recently a D8 a few weeks ago. All of them came in a week or less, all fantastic paint jobs. I cant speak for the dude personally only the work I've seen, and I am truly shocked to read what he has done, if it is indeed true. Its just a sad world we live in these days, maybe the fumes gets to these guys after a few years. I had a bud loose a quite a few $$$ over 2 custom painted bodies Franks Bodies was supposed to do for him...another story. And BTW ebay changed its feedback policy sometime this year, and sellers cannot leave negative feedback for buyers anymore...so threats of a negative marks can be sent directly in the trash bin.

Hobbipro, glad you had good luck, but he will ge you someday. If he has seen the light or found god...then he needs to make good with all of us. I doubt that is the case. I he has, he can send me my money and I will show proof that I will donate it to the Fallen Heros Fund. ALL $600.00 that he owes me!

Were these transactions paid for by credit card, or was it a pay-pal balance? I can see if it was a pay-pal balance it being more difficult to get your money back, but a credit card should only take a phone call and a fraud claim made to get those funds back. I always try to use my CC card even though pay-pal says they offer protection....B.S! I've read of too many PPL having problems with pay-pal.

He's got $300 and two bodies of mine since a year ago.
Doug and I used to be pretty tight. He's painted for me since 2003. Then, last winter poooooooooooooooooofff; thief.
Call the local PD and they will tell you its a civil matter; they can't do anything (I called them).
Call your attorney and if he's any good at all he'll tell you you'll need an attorney that is recognized by the Oklahoma Bar Association (Oklahoma attorney).
Paypal won't do a thing if it's past the 90day deal they have.
In my case, like I said I knew Doug from "way back". Heck my original scheme that I came up with (he painted) in 2003 is still on his homepage right under the "BUY NOW" label on the left HERE. Along with my updated schemes all in his gallery: HERE. Pretty frustrating when I come up with a scheme, he paints it, we agree he won't sell it and I find versions of it on EBay from him nowadays. Yeah, he'll paint my scheme and sell it to somebondy else but won't paint the bodies of mine he has or even return the 3bills he owes me... whatever. Now, when you guys see my scheme on EBay you can chuckle knowing the story.
Straight up Doug is a thief. I wish he wasn't but he is. If you haven't been theived by him yet, you will. Like I said, we had a way better than typical relationship and I'm out 3 bills and 2 shells...
If you guys need a GREAT paint job please get in touch with Jim Meyers at Winning Edge Designs. His email is: [email protected] Tell him I sent you. His work is top notch, he's an honest guy and he's been around longer than any of the others.
Jim just painted up this B44 shell for me. The pic doesn't do the "Bass Boat" metallic any justice.
