Ryan it's good to hear that you are free to have fun and do what you enjoy. Learn and expand you horizon's. The move sounds like the one that you needed. Enjoy it and best of luck.

hey all: Congrats to ryan lutz and tamiya on the partnership it should work out great for all involved. Just want to know how is the 8th nitro buggy comming along and will ryan be doing any 10th electric off road racing or only 8th nitro in his new role with tamiya? Thanks

ryan will run mostly the tamiya truggy. he said he will run the electric cars at the cactus classic. lutz took 4th place with the tamiya truggy at crcrc Midwest championships.

I'm sure that Tamiya will step up now that they have one of the top young drivers, Ryan is a really nice guy, I have talked to him before (at Rev.) about set ups and other "problems" I was having with my ST-RR and he was more than willing to stop what he was doing and help me out, Tamiya got a hella good racer..Kyosho should have offered a bit more to keep Ryan....just an opinion but with Lutz racing for them Tamiya is a legitimate threat now, I am willing to at least give the 801 a look after Ryan works with it for a bit..

First off thank you! As for the 1/8th Buggy. .... I ran it for the first time today. I can't say much but let me show you my emotions from running it!
Also yes I will be doing a little bit of 4wd electric racing although my 1/8th Gas schedule this year is pretty full. I think I'm racing at least 40 weekends this year so far. . So Electric offroad and onroad will fit in where possible!

Haha, Growing pains with a new car! I got it all squared away for the main and I just ran the truck again today for a few tanks. WOT!! Seriously, not like my normal WOT but for real WOT and it held up tremendously. I learned the finer points of the maintenance of the truck and it's near bulletproof now!
Thank you Oasis for the comments! .... Just wait until you see the buggy run!
(I'll be at rev Thursday and probably Saturday)
