Questions?? Wanting to buy a HPI FIRESTORM, Good or Bad?

Looking at buying the HPI Firestorm. Is it a good buy or not?

get a proven truggy! Jammin, Ofna, Mugen, Xray, AE, Losi, Kyosho, etc. Nobody races HPI, they are bashing vehicles with crappy parts, and not track worthy. The only Good thing to come from HPI is the Savage, and even that is more of a basher, as nobody races em.

That's a pretty big statement to say nobody races HPI, not to mention it is false.
If you are going to take the time to type something you should make it something of value to someone.

Maybe you have confused the word with it's noun usage:
–noun
2.a person of no importance, influence, or power.

Had one and sold it 2 weeks after. Not worth it. Get a truggy you'll have more fun with it.

LOL, I think you are the only fool who actually races, and I'm sure loses with an HPI. Stop wasting your time attacking me, as I am actually trying to help the guy/kid get something that's worth the money. It doesn't even matter if he's racing or bashing. HPI is crap, and anyone serious about Nitro will agree with me, not you, so stuff it fool!

I also think it doesn't matter how many times you change your log in name because people harrass/bash/and beat you up, your still a jerk!

Your going to have to do some major upgrading to that firestorm from coming apart. My rear shock came apart 5 mins after first time using it and I was not even bashing. Bought it used and sold it within 2 weeks owning it. Like Jaz240 said spend a little more and you can get something better.

Slow down now... I agree that the truck he is thinking about buying is not that good. But no need to jump on your fellow " Hobby Enthusiast"... I think everyone in this sport has started on a beginner level. Not to say that we want him to start on a poor truck...But for him not to go out and burn $800 without getting the bug. I think a traxxas Slash would be best though.... They are cheap,Raceable and give you solid footing to make the tough buggy/truggy desicions... anyway good luck...

Dont expect to keep up with truggy, it's 2WD. Decent stuff, Design is based on race truck but you may want better shock like Losi one. Too bad HPI didn't sell this truck as kit without all there electronics ...

And it's raceable

Well since the attack was directly at you, I figured the apology should be directly at you, but you make a good point, so here it is for all to see:

I wanted to apologize for blasting you on the other thread. You may not be the same guy I've been fighting with for 6 months. He just follows my posts, and argues with me. Anyway, I take back the nasty things I said. I really dont enjoy fighting with people, and sometimes I get out of hand when people make it personal. Peace, Jaz

Thumbs up HPI Firestorm

Krupted I don't know who you are but HPI as I read in Rc driver is a leading brand in the U.S. right now. Also they are great entry level r/c vehicles because I raced them all summer and are great machines and I've beat buggies with it. So I'd recomend it and it has a great chassis it's the best r/c gas truck you'll ever buy if you do.
