Default Engine Mod Comparrison Before/After

Hey guys.... I wanted to see what the fuss was all about, so I decided to do a video documentary on an engine mod service. I don't claim to be a professional nor do I have allot of experience with RC/Nitro... this is the end of my first season. This is completely un-bias and these are the real results.. Check it out and tell me what you think..

This is a 3 part Video series... to view the results you can go right to part 3... and skip the rest although I would recommend at least watching part 2 first to see the dramatic differences in sleeve/port mod stock vs. mod and the crank mod. If you want to go directly to my YouTube channel to view them go here: http://www.youtube.com/user/NorCalRCRacer

Otherwise you can view each of the 3 parts below.
Thanks
Carlos

Part 1 - Engine Mod Comparison Intro 3:30 min.

Part 2 - Engine Internals Before/After Modification 2:49 min.

Part 3 - Engine Mod Track Testing Specifications & Results 7:42 min.

Great Work Carlos!! The motor looks and sounds good. I know we discussed the slight low end lean bog so as soon as you get that fuel filter that was loose straightend up it should impress even more. You may even have to go to 1.0 springs because it will have quite a bit more snap so keep us posted as to what your future experience is with this engine and my services. Thanks again Carlos and that song still cracks me up!!

Thanks Mark... Yeah it should be noted that when I got home and was cleaning my buggy after a full day of testing and shooting video, I discovered that my fuel filter was coming unscrewed.

You are missing the most important part , the video of the engine running in the car before it was modded....

You're Right Paul! I thought about that but didn't want to risk it since the front bearing/seal was going bad on the engine.

However I do have video of that engine running in my old buggy... although it wouldn't be a true good comparison becuase I was running the engine in a different buggy, clutch setup and same track...but different layout. The only thing that could truely be compared is the sound of the engine I guess..

its all good mate , I appreciate you taking the time to do it . it would have been interesting to see the standing start on the main straight comparison , almost sounds like its spooling to fast, also those kyosho alloy clutches are the lightest on the market..

Once again thank you for taking the time to do it...

That would be cool...we could drag race down the straight... I would but I'm a TQ man now! I'm going to give the Engine to Joel to evaluate, and report on as well... so there will be more info to come! Race Results ect.

Somebody did one of these engine shootout vids once... maybe you could copy the format.
