Of course some regions are larger than others and they have more signed up. I was going off the average.
As of this morning, counting paid and unpaid entries:
Pro Buggy 32
Pro Arena 27
Exp Buggy 37
Exp Arena 29
Int Buggy 64
Int Arena 51
Gas Truck 15
MT 23

Event starts 3 weeks from today... probably have a lot of last minute entries.

The season is ended. The Quebec Pro Serie final was in Quebec city on September 6-7th.

The season begin on mid may and end at the end of september...

I wish to get a sponsorship for the next season because I didnt get any this season and I'll have to drive at least 400 miles to the closest track. So when you want to stay at the front in Buggy Expert A-main, you have to ride new buggys, engines,tires... I did it this years but I can't do it twice..

So I dont have any money to go in Texas, I must pass for this year!

As I said, best of luck to all racers!

In 4 to 6 years all the current Experts will be Pros and the expert class will be Intermediate drivers that have had to move up. So now there are what 8 or 10 Intermediate drivers in each region that just started this year.
I actually know of a couple people who attended worlds as well, one of which I actually beat at our second pro series race last year.
Did your son win any of the pro series events in your region? top 5? 10? If he did, then maybe he should run pro. If not, then expert might give him a better chance.

My understanding is the top 12 getting bumped to pro was a one time thing aimed at moving the guys that have dominated the class to the pro level where they belong. I'm sure it will now go to the top 1 or 3 getting moved to pro should they win the expert...
