Sirio CL7BSTi vs. RB C6 Vs. OS Speed
#31
Megacrash, the Kanai EVO4 is a fantastic mill. The Sirio engines need patient break in because of the quality of materials used. The piston does not conform to the cylinder quickly, but once they are broken in correctly, the piston and sleeve will outlast any other. The quality of the ceramic bearings that come in the new evolution of engines is unreal. Very high quality. That's one thing about Star Motor, they don't skimp on anything. The crankshafts used in this latest run of engines are standard hardened steel, rather than the super hardened black coated on-road style cranks from last year. This provides more durability for the rigors of off-road racing, and resistance to abuse. Sirio always continues to develop.

I am not biased for or against Sirio, what part of that can't you understand...... I have now seen 2 CL7B STI engines fail in the exact same place... I also have several others who have tried the CL7B who also feel the motor has a very soft bottom end... I dont hate the motor, but its honestly not worth the fanatical hype your laying on it...Sirio is your sponsor so we know how unbiased your being in all this... I point out a few flaws in the engine and your calling me a serial Sirio hater over it !!! geez I guess 2 snapped cranks, terrible fuel mileage and no bottom end are all user error eh ?

quite possibly
You need to stop digging the silicone out of your cranks, and using power tools on the engines, and then maybe you'll be better off.

So with that logic the D8 is better than the MP9
I think we all now what top finish at the world's means: spent the most money on the best driver
I am interested in the C6 as well for buggy: I want most fuel mileage and nice power, I have a smooth finger

Tech Adept
I would go with the Speed because it is very easy to tune and has fantastic run times. Will be completing my 6th gallon. The RB C6 is way to pricey.

I care more that the engine last's than how much it costs.
