i had this exact problem! it's the front diff ring gear. open the front diff covers, and it will be in there. the gear round the outside of the diff will probably be missing a few teeth. replace it, and you're good to go.

it's the truck's way of telling you to loosen your slipper and not to land with the throttle on.
