Okay, I got my brother to order some parts for me.. I had a $20 off $50 coupon from Tower, so I got:

2 Sets of Pro-Line M2 Bow-Tie 1/8 buggy tires
A Duratrax Micro-Failsafe
and a Hitec HS645MG, for a total of $68!

I'll get the steel one soon, I just got a voicemail from my brother about 3 hours ago while I was still at school saying that my buggy had come in and he's going to bring it to me tonight!

Do you plan on racing it or just bashing it? If you do plan on racing it I wouldnt dump alot of money in upgrades to the car itself. Spending dough on the radio and servos and stuff is good, but no matter how much money you put into the car, it wont ever be close to running with a Losi, Associated, Mugen or Kyosho. The design is just too old. I'm not talking crap about it, obviously I have mine...and its a great buggy to learn on, but once you get good at driving, you'll see your laptimes improve alot with another newer buggy.

I'm planning on racing, but not big races; just small races at the local track..
