No one would sell a motor combo with an 086 because it is not legal anymore in most of the world and might not even be made, though there are still a bunch around. Remember that IFMAR rules change around 2001 or 2002 and all pipes since then (2XXX numbered pipes) are more restrictive then the older 2 chamber pipes. Now IFMAR has changed rules again with 3XXX numbered pipes. These are even more restrictive. If you need to tone down an overpowered motor just throw one of them on it.

That being said, the 2045 is one of the best of the 3 chamber designs.

Also I know how to tune and my opinions are also backed by the dyno testing that has been done on the C6....
Yep heaps more power and fuel no doubt, then a 10 second penalty for not being able to make a 10qualifier without fuelling plus disqualification for running an illegal pipe.

Offroad racing is not all about power.

Actually I seem to recall the 053's being very good on fuel. The 086 was always a bit thirsty though.

On my modified C6 i have no issue hitting 10 minutes on the 086..maybe other pipes would do better, but I wouldnt consider its current mileage poor by any means.. in fact the C6 on the 086 is one of if not the most fuel efficient motors I have run....I also live in Canada so its not illegal to run the 086...

Very diplomatic of you maximo, my local tracks dont worry about pipes either...

Tell you what, I will try the 086 with my WS7 but your not modifying it!! so the Nova 086 pipe not sure of the first number is that one I order from amain??

I actually run the dynamite and OFNA 086 on the C6... they seem to work just as well as the Nova pipe...on the modified C6 we have been running a long conical header as well....We have all 3 brands of 086, the Nova is just to expensive to risk damaging so we run the cheaper brands !!!
