The JR XS3 is just like the JR XS3 Pro, no crystals. The JR XR3 has crystals.

An M8 with spectrum module is a GREAT setup. That's what I run. As adjustable as anything out there, great feel to the radio, very intuitive menus that won't confuse you...

You can get M8's cheap also, I just picked one up with spectrum module already in it with the antenna mod. for $130 shipped on e-bay, I was shocked I got it that cheap

I bought a special edition backlit M8 with fm micro rx and a few sets of crystals, with a Trinity radio case.......very clean radio I might add....then I will add dsm at a later point
