I paid $30.00 today to watch the race. It was working fine for me all day until the B main. Then I was kicked out (the web page said connection lost). I opened up another Internet Explorer window and logged back in again. I worked ok for the first 20 minutes of the A main then I wasn't able to get the standings and lap times. I t would just continuously load but I did't get any information on standings. I was still able to watch the A main for a while. After about 30 minutes into the A main, I was kicked out again (Connection lost message). I have been trying to get back on the website ever since. I am very disappointed with LiveRC. I am trying to get back on the site to contact them to let them know that I paid and missed the A main. I was still going to keep my subscription but then I got to thinking, what if this happens again. With the $30.00 I paid, I could have...no, should have bought some tires or fuel.

I like how you stated that if you didn't pay for the bonus lap, your a freeloader!

If I was freeloading, why grant me any access at all?
I know, Maybe they made it free to get people intereted in it? well, from what I've heard, you can pay 30 bucks and still get screwed

And how did Mr Losi become a moderator? His comments aren't very helpful.

Default freeloader????

Just to clear up something......I wasn't calling anyone a freeloader! I fully understand that some either choose to not pay, or can't pay for whatever reason. That is fine and I fully understand that!! The comment I made was when there were over 2500 people in the chat/video....."someone close the door".....meaning that, I wish the site would not let anyone else in until the site had the video/scoring issues worked out. If the site was having issues with the number of people in there at 2500, why just keep jamming the server with more and crash it even more? Heck, I am a freeloader!! I used the liveRC site for a while before I paid. I wanted to fully understand what I would get for my money before I paid. When others chimed in as to what the membership got you, I decided to pay the $30. After I paid my membership I was having second thoughts, for about 2 heats! Then after watching race after race after race I was trying to let others know that were "on the fence" about it, know that it was well worth the money! I spent 3 FULL days in front of the computer, watching races and picking drivers! I would say that I got my $30 worth just this last weekend! I also was trying to help others that were just coming into the site, fully understand that it was not $30 just for the day or just the race. That is what I thought when I first went on.

I was able to watch the semi finals and main event with out any problems but scoring and chat going out a few times. With Kenny on the mic you don't need live scoring. I joined in August of last year and the coverage and quality has only gotten better with every race. I would pay even more, especially if there was a feature to block out non-paying members on the chat window.

I am a RC freeloader!! I don't even own a single RC!! I sold everything I had in 92 and have not touched anything since. I am just getting back in and the NATS coverage was certainly a big help to me!

I agree about Kenny! That is why I asked Brandon if there was a way next time to have the audio on a separate feed. That way if video froze we could still hear the announcing.

I am glad to know that they have been making improvements after each race. I also know that its concept is still in its infancy and there will be some issues. I think all in all, Brandon did a great job! Also hats off to him for taking time away from his own racing to make it happen!! Anyone that has ever raced, knows that it takes a lot of work to race at any event, much less a "big race". So to take time away from his racing effort to make the racing available to all of us at home......hats off to Brandon!!!

I have been a member the past two years and have noticed improvements everytime I watch a race. Reedy 08 was the best one I have seen since being a member. You have to also take into consideration the connection at the track. Some places have a lousy connection or crappy wireless hook up. So you are also at the mercy of the track to. Generally though if you want totally uninterrupted video/audio it is better to pay the $30 for the subscription rather then having to wait your turn in the que. Brandon works his ass off to get the best possible coverage for the area they are in at the moment.

Same here! The "following cam" action was first rate.

The chat comments were freakin hilarious when that photographer get his big head in front of the camera right before the A-main started. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. Glad the announcer finally told him to move before the race started.

You said nearly everything I was going to say.

Allow me to add to this.

Industry standard (and FCC regulation) for broadcasting on TV is 16 mins per hour of ad's. Live coverage is allowed to 'bend the rules' and give you a lot more ad's if they see fit.

Notice how many times Liverc stopped to show you ad's for Viagra or Celebrex. Not one time. In fact, if you add up the times the server bumped people off; it's less than a few mins for a *50 hour* broadcast.

Kinda makes watching racing on TV pointless.

Regardless; I hope LiveRC continues to improve it's coverage. I would like to see a fullscreen picture with the results running along the bottom of the screen. The chat room means NOTHING to me, same goes for the 'RCbucks' feature.

I give LiveRC a HUGE thumbs up for their coverage. Small issues aside; they did fantastic coverage despite HUGE odds. Considering that in TV, you send out one big signal and it goes all over the world/nation - LiveRC had to send out 3000 signals to meet a demand - Demand MET!

I agree that was good laugh.... I also like the "Thank you" 's when the announcer asked him to move. That was funny.
