Default losi 8ight clutch?

i just got a losi 8ight buggy it didnt come with a clutch set-up? so i tried throwing in my v-spec with a 3 shoe clutch set-up... it doesnt seem to match up to well like it a little short? do i need a 4 piece clutch set-up? or maybe a motor mount?
thanks lynell

I just had the same problem, but i have the kingheadz motor mount and i was able to reverse the motor mount so it scooted the motor closer.

Do it right. The Losi clutch is big and beefy and made for the vehicle.

If you use the losi clutch set-up it will work fine. But if you would rather use the standard clutch then you will need a different motor mount that is reversible. I can go either way because I have both, however I prefer the Losi clutch.

+1 on getting the Losi clutch. It's easy to work on and was made for the car. I use two longwear aluminums with gold springs and two carbons with green springs. You don't need any special tool to work on the clutch. I re-oil the clutch bearings after a race day. Right now, I have a month of racing on the same clutch.

I use a standard Mugen clutch setup on my buggy, I just use the losi bell with it.

did you change your motor mount? or is the losi clutch bell just longer?
