I have been hearing more about a TKI3 coming out soon. Aparently it will have all the bugs ironed out, shafts and all.

Oh no! I just got mine! Actually I knew about it. Was told by my local distributor that some new upgrade for TKI2 but it will be minimal. I can't wait anymore so I just purchase them. Might be able to use the upgrade excuse to get more parts or another TKI

Being new to the MP9 this season I did a lot of reading and got an idea pretty quick that we need to watch for UJ's popping out and also snapping.

My car has 3L on it and i ran the Malaysian Nationals this weekend. Before the semis I decided I would pre-empt a snapped UJ costing me a place in the main and I checked the UJ's for signs of twisting.

Both rears were twisted noticeably. One more than the other. For sure it would had been a snapped UJ in the semi or main and a bad end to a good weekend. I changed them out and was glad I did when I made the podium.

check out the angle of twisting..... the UJ pins should be in a straight line.

Yep thats what frustrated me the other day. Two twisted axles but in my case on the front. IFW404B's on the way

Have yet to break the 777 axles on the back and they are on their third dog pin.

Nope, I know I will get flamed on this but, the fioroni chassie is the same as the tki2, meaning you will need the sides from the tki2 (with gaskets on the bulkheads and steel inserts for the droop screws) with hard coat anodize that lasts longer than the original tki.

So are the 777 that you can use on the MP9 the IFW334? Can you run them front and back?

Thanks

I have been using the original (2008) release drive shafts with no issues. I bought a few spares back then.
