I find that I only use them on really high bite tracks where the car is really "twitchy" because of so much steering.

As for the wheel weights I only tried the 10 gram front and rear and to me it just felt like I could carry a little more speed over bump sections on the track. I didnt actually get to see any lap times so I am just going by what I felt. Good luck.

the servo saver that comes pre assembled in the TKi3 kit, do I need to tighten this more, or is it set well from factory?

I locked mine down to get more precise steering feel, especially through bumpy turns.

Every single factory driver does that. I asked one of them why, and basicly he said it was too weak as it came, and would not allow you enough steering on fast corners and such.
Since I torqued down my servo saver, just review like 10 pages back, people on here started flaming me when I said to start doing it.. h8rz gawwwwn h8.

Anyhow, you risk your servo. I run Futaba and have not had any issues.
My friend did smash a Savox gear set last weekend.
All I can say is Futaba > Savox.

Simply put, no. Worlds are next year and if a new car was to be run at the 2014 Worlds, it would be in prototype form already. It's much more likely given this is Kyosho's 50th anniversary year to see a tribute MP9 kit or what have you, perhaps a TKI Ultimate kit with all the hard anodizing, titanium, aluminum c-hubs, balls, etc. This is me just speculating/wishing of course.

For the servo saver ?s, I lock mine down pretty tight. But I also run KO Propo servos. Robert from KO told me he JB Welds his, so that should tell you something about the reliability of their servos.

It says 110MM
Would anyone know if this would work for the TKI3 rear center CVD? Would it be better than the stock?

Yep, it'll work just fine. I've been using the captured centre driveshafts for front and rear for more than a year and haven't had any problems so far. The captured unis definitely spin heaps easier and more freely when on an angle of more than about 15degrees or so. The regular style unis can be felt to bind up and have a lot more resistance when trying to spin them on an angle. Obviously this must be robbing the car or power IMHO, so that's at least one good reason to run the captured unis. I also really like that the captured universals are able to be rebuilt when the pins wear out, instead of junking a perfectly good universal just because the dogbone pins wear out too fast and no one seems to have the correct size replacement pin for us to use.

Also check out the HD captured universals, just as with the regular style HD unis, they're chunky and thicker than the regular parts. The HD unis are IFW432, IFW433, IFW434, IFW435 - for front and rear centre unis and also the 91mm and 93mm HD unis, can't remember exactly which part has which part number but they're all there if you check through them carefully.

Hi guys I'm so glad to be back on here. I just got myself a brand new tki3. My last mp9 was the worlds edition right after Cody king won the worlds.

I got a question to ask you guys ,,,,

What option parts should I get besides the orange rear springs and also I'm thinking about getting the king headz extended motor mount but looking at the chassis I don't see an extra hole to mount the arm of the mount to , do I need to drill a new hole in the chassis or it's not needed or should I just get the one without the extended piece .

Thanks for your help ,,, Brian
