Just a question ,what is making you want to change ?,I have had that motor and pipe set before it was great . I used both long and short headers for different tracks ,also great mileage with that combo.

i am not a fan of the sound of the 2045.. it seems to never clear out.. if that makes any sense.. it just sounds so muffled that it tricks me into think it is to rich on the top end... for one reason or another i was getting way better fuel mileage with a jp3 on my ws7ii.. so thats why i considered trying the jp4..

Thumbs up

News - The JP-4 will be muffled as well. Effra regs are about noise restriction. They design these pipes for milage and top end breathing.
I love the 2045 pipe. It is quiet though.
Honestly, I don't think you will see much difference.

I bought that exactly setup (WS7III/JP4) on December 07, honestly, I did not like it, the WS7 felt like it lacked bottom end, then I switched to a JP1 and it was much better.

If your not getting enough bottom end out of the WS7III/2045 combo, you might want the longer header (RB198). Another thing to consider is your clutch set-up. Try the next harder spring from what ever your running now.

I was actually referring to the WS7 III with the JP-4 , was running a fioroni clutch then.

sorry, I though I was the only guy around with a still running WS7 (original). For that motor I like the RB 2020 the best but the fuel economy is not as good as the 2045.

I run the JP4 with the RB long header , this does give you a nice power curve and good fuel economy . It produces a higher power curve to the 2045 but that combination gives good power without being to aggresive If you want good bottom end power run a turbo plug button head and up the nitro and if that doesn't work than go the BB C6 , that motor is really aggresive compared to the S7 and WS7 , you'll have more than enough bottom end then no matter what exhaust or header you run
