I looked it up and December is when it hits store shelves, plenty of time before race season.

Since we are talking about the new RTR buggy, has anyone heard anything, rumors, or whatever about when Associated will be coming out with a truggy. I know they will sooner or later and then an RTR of it close behind. Just wondering if there is any news leaking out. Thanks.

Does anyone have the RC8RS, and if so how do you like it? Is the basic functionality of the radio good? Thanks.

Does the RC8RS use the same clutch shoes as the FT?

If it doesn't then it uses the carbon shoes. They are exactly the same except for the material they are made out of. The FT shoes would fit right on and vice versa. Some guys like carbon shoes anyways. I know I do as they are less maintenance. For racing I like aluminums, but everybody is different.
T$ - from the advertisement I saw in xtreme rc the radio looks excellent and should have all the adjustment you'd need. The car itself should be every bit as good as the ft car. Heck, everybody is putting the rtr shock caps and braces on anyhow. On the uk aeforums Richard Saxton put a pic of his ride up where he even had the rtr radio tray and center diff brace as well. I almost think I should've just gotten the rtr. lol Because I did buy an rtr engine off ebay so I can have a practice engine. So who's farther ahead... the guy who only upgraded servos? Or me who has the ft but bought the rtr shock tops, braces, will buy the center brace, possible radio tray, and an engine?
Basically what I'm saying is you can't go wrong buying the rc8 be it the ft or the rtr. It's an amazing buggy and very fun to drive.
