Looking good Sein. I like the bright colors, won't be hard to spot that paint job on the track.

Actually you can buy the XRAY universal's ($40) or the Jconceptz ($20) wherever you can find those. I actually just got it from Jconceptz about a month ago, and when I called to see if they had any, they said no. They gave me a call back three days later saying that they found one on the shelf, and it was the last one ever made by them. So I ordered that and I was told that they had no more and were out of production. They also told me that a few online stores may have them, so look around quick because once they are gone, they're gone for good.

Guys, im gettin a crapload of PM's asking how i did the some parts on this body...so im just going to post it here too:
The whole paint job was done with masking tape, rattle cans and patients ...nothing more...i've even got PM's asking how i get the lines so straight , again...masking tape and patients. Like all bodies, the Prep work is the most time consuming and crucial process. ...the actuall paint is the easy part and is really fast in comparison. I used colors - all tamiya PS ratle cans: Fluro Red, Black, Gunmetal Gray, White, Silver (for backing), and Smoke ( one step in the CF effect). For the CF look part at the rear, I could never find this cupboard inlay BS all the guys are talking about...maybe it is readily available in the US, but we dont use that crap here . One day i walked past a Shop with some graphics printed on a perforated vinyl sticked onto the glass facade....and it hit me like a brick..DUH!!!! PERFORATED Vinyl:

and the stuff they use to do things like this mostly...or even shopfronts:

works a treat...the adhesive backing isnt super sticky and does not leave residue. also...it is hella easy forming it with a normal hairdryer...it just falls into every nook and cranny so to speak once you heat it up..it becomes 'leafy' ...and as soon as it cools down again it becomes stiffer like original, so you can just place..reposition and if you wanna go again just peel it off and try again..great stuff. the nice part is you just use it like you would any other self adhesive masking. Most Printing places around here stock rolls of it for large format printing...i just asked for an offcut piece and got it for free. it also looks more scale...the CF texture is almost exactly the same as the size of the CF texture on the towers of most RC cars.
There are alot of guides on the net for acieving a CF look for paint...i just used one of them, but it basically boiled down to this: You want it to have a very "deep" finish...SO, first you place the vinyl. Then i use Tamiya Smoke and give it two coats. Then i give ONE coat of Gunmetal gray. This will be your dark silver part in your CF weave. after i do the Gunmetal layer...i remove the vinyl. Then i basically give it several layers of Smoke on top of the gunmetal until im happy with the darkness...i usually becomes this dark-warm-black color..like actual CF. Then when it is dark enough...give it one coat of silver. this step you can make ANY color to give it whatever undertone you want...after which i just back it with black. If you dont want to go through the trouble of applying several layers of smoke color after the one gunmetal layer on there...just replace that step with black straight on...it yields a nice flat CF finish...EASY, and the perforated vinyl means you dont have to worry about masks lifting or whatever.
hope this explains it to everybody
cheers!
