Novarossi Plus 21 7bt Help

I bought this motor new and it seems to run OK. But I cant seem to get the right header and pipe combination on it. I have tried running a novarossi 9886 and 9853, with long and short headers, smooth flow one's and ones that weren't. Just curios if anybody else is running this motor and what Pipe and header they are using. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have this motor and run it with a 086 pipe, I feel it has a little too much top and comes in like a on/off switch.

I think I might switch to a JP3 in the very near future.

Novarrosi Plus 21-7BT... get the 9853 pipe along the conical medium manifold it goes extremely well, enough ooomph to pull a MBX5-T, you should not have problems pulling a buggy.

I tried the 9853 with smooth flow header, but it was the long one for bottom end. I think I haven't found that magical combination yet. So your saying try the short header with 9853. As anyone tried a jp pipe on it? Thanks Guys for the help.;)

What are you looking for in your combination? Torque, Top End or sheer smooth drivability. What type of track do you run on?
The 053 with a short header should be the best of both worlds.

I tried the 53 with the short header. If I remeber correctly, I got Mid to top and no bottom. And then when i went to the long header, I got a ton of bottom to mid with no top end. Thats why I was going to try the 9886 with difrent headers? I am try to get the best of both worlds if i can.

The 086 is very powerful in almost all of the range. You will give up on fuel efficiency though. Might try the JP-3. Being a three chamber pipe the fuel will extend a lot more. This pipe is punchy but is totally linear to your throttle input. If you want to tone it down and get a little more top end for slick tracks or big tracks, it is very responsive to going with a short header.

It is all about the track for me. Quick enough to do the obsticals. Fast enough to not get blown away down the straight. Fuel efficient enough to get 9 - 10 mins. With a cluch that lets me run with minimal tire spin.
That is money!!!

If what you want is low-end you need then another very different pipe, you need a 9901. 9853 and 9886 will not help you on this area. Look if you can get a MSR1005 pipe, this will wake your 21-7

thats funny because the 9853 pipe is a low end pipe.
