the power was very smooth, lost a lil bit of bottom versus running the JP1 but gained everywhere else, mainly on the top...run times were in the 8 to 9 minute range, and seemed to run best with os P8 plug...

Lets see, I have 3 and and 2 which I have not tried yet. I run p3 currently. I am trying to decide if I keep all these Novarossi headers and pipe's. Or just sell them with the headache I have from them.. And go back to running nothing but jammin pipes, which I have always had luck with.

stay with the jammin pipes, there not always the best, but they are always very good....

Yea. Go with the JP-3. You where wheel spinning everytime I got around you. That 053 comes in way hard and that is a big motor.
You will rarely pipe tune with that motor because you will not go to tracks that require it.
Keep a short header. Soften your clutch a little. Keep your restrictors handy. On big motors at Indy, I run 6.5 - 7.5 mm restrictors. It all depends on traction.
Life will get good in very short order.
You are a good driver.....so I will shut up now!
See you on the gate.

Tex, I appreciate the help. I will get with next time I am up there. And this past Saturday I was running my v-spec with the wrong tires. Because in the main with the right tires I was running low 28 sec laps, but not consistently.:sneaky:

Thanks

the novarossi 2015 & long header or the novarossi 9901 & long header are the proper match for the plus 21-7bt but i prefer the 2015 more smoother on the bottom

wish i had read this first befor i bought the pipes anyhow i will see how they go.. i need to get this ready for the state titles at your track.tuned and sorted out so i have a bit of time up my sleeve.

I have run the 7port engine and found it to be one of the smoothest engines ever. I ran a medium length header with a Mugen 2011 pipe (3 chamber 086 made in Germany by Mielke) Only thing I found was it needed to be rich on the bottom and didn't like to idle for extended periods, but man when you wanted it it was there ,and smooth too, it was in a Kyosho SP2 stock aluminium shoes with 1.0 springs with a Mugen clutch bell(kyosho flywheel was cut so Mugen bells would fit) It didn't matter if the track was killer traction or slick as ice it would put the power down ,just incredible .
Fuel milage was pretty good ,but not great ... 8 minutes was pushing it.
Oh and it was NOT a turbo head . :)
