It's been quiet in the Caster thread here lately but don't worry the buzz is there.

RCTech has suked lately anyway. Seems better now...

I think the quiet is the sneaky confidence in the team. The car is getting better all the time too.

If anyone had trouble with the shock bladders, Cam and some others have been playing with them this week and it looks pretty good. They build nice if you do it a certain way.

1. make sure the bladder is pushed completely into the shock cap... seated all around the lip.

2. fill body with oil... and thread cap onto the body just until you feel it hit the bladder. Then back it off like a half turn and bleed the excess oil (compress the piston all the way).

3. now, tighten the cap again... only one full turn after the shockbody touches the bladder.

If you over-tighten the cap it will mess up the bladder. Cam may have a slightly different technique but that should do it. He can add to it if he's found something else.

I've seen some of the new option stuff like tires and wheels and wings and they are SWEET! but they are not here in quantity yet. The tires look great... can't wait for spring to give them a workout.

I think once the guys get some wheel time the thread will breath again....

well, you are right, we have improve the car every single day, and hour and mins..if we can ...^___^ well, we have already change the new shock bladder, so next patch or the new patch , we will replace some for cam, that is for sure, we change the material and the design, so now it works easy , load it and close with your cap, no extra works there.....

Hey, Cam also has some new synthetic grease for leak-proofing the diffs. Same stuff Amain sells that the Mugen guys use.

It's the mobil 1 stuff... like this not used to fill the diff, only to grease the oring/outdrive for a better seal.

But it's high quality grease so I might be trying it on other things... ring and pinion gears, 1/10 diffs etc

I didn't mean anything derogitry by asking how old Caster was. I thaught maybe you guys had changed manufacturers or something when you said it was a new brand.

Yeah OCM is selling from there factory in the US to the shops. Pretty much the same as here in Australia too with Theo and I behind the realms.
Europe are doing the same aswell, makes sence to us to have dedicated, serious, nice guys who race aswell around us who are commited to the brand who all have the common goal of making it better and better at an affordable price.
