Actually... i can understand how flex helps the car grip but what happens when the suspension reaches its entire up-travel and the remaining portion of the bump is transferred into the chassis... surely it would act like an undampened spring and flex back at an uncontrollable timeframe. Wouldnt this cause unpredicatable handling?

Thanks for the part numbers, now lets try and get them into my hands

I live in the 80015 Zip Code, USA.

RCH - Radio Controlled Hobbies in Aurora, Colorado is my closest and preferred LHS....

I'm anxiously awaiting to get these parts on my TM and get some testing going!

Thanks!

I think this package would see your Magic improve considerably. Somethings to get started with anyway,

K8208 Shorter Rear Arms
K8211 New Universals joint arms. Shorter for K8208
K8204 Rear Chassis Brace.
K8210 One piece steering Linkage.

Where are you from bushyar15? Maybe I can help in getting your LHS to stock parts for you.

BMac................... your right. These parts maybe should have been put on the car from the start.
And we should have made the car from the stronger plastic too.

BUT....we have learned that we cannot build this car cheap! It needs to be strong, especially for the rough, hard tracks in the U.S !!

The good thing is the changes have been made!! The new M1B TURBO has all the these stronger parts on.............it's made out of the stronger plastic. It even has some of the upgrades on as stock !! The issues and weeknesses of the original have been addressed.

Also, M1B owners do not have to ditch the old for the new!! All the new parts sported on the TURBO will fit the original M1 !!
All the upgradded parts, some of which are already on the TURBO, will fit the original M1B !!

Now we will be able to see improvements in both performance and durability.

This next week should start to see the first of these new cars comming into the U.S.

bushyar15........ I will talk to your LHS and get them to stock TM equipment and parts.

If you need the parts now. Victory Lane RC Hobbies (563-441-7701)
He can help you with the parts you need.

Ok,

Yes I know everything you have said and I know it's in your best interest to say these things and I know your in business and I would never want any one to fail in business cause I know what it's like, however having said that I will not invest another penny into this buggy until its been proven, winning races, not breaking, handling better etc.... this may take a while.
I wouldn't want your job if you paid me at the moment, I think this buggy is dead in the water and if your not a distributor or friend of a distributor then it's going to be an expensive journey to get your buggy up to the "TURBO" Specs, if this is not the case list all the new stuff on the "TURBO" here and a retail price in which it will take to upgrade.

As I said best of luck, and I really do mean that.

Why is there nothing on the Team Magic site about the new Turbo M1-B? And shouldn’t Magic give all the current owners the updated parts sense the Buggy was such crap. I know I have one with about a whole car extra for parts and it is just sitting in a box because it will very rarely last a whole race.

Did you see the post above?
Our M1B came 2nd in an endurance race lasting 3 HOURS!
I think that is good first signs that the new M1B is more durable then before!

But your right.
So, we as Team Magic America WILL NOT release this new buggy until it is ready and until we are happy with it here in the States.
We will not be caught out again with inferior and cheaply made product. After all as you pointed out my livelyhood is at atake.

If/when this buggy is released it will be right this time!!!!!

Until then. Our buggy can be seen to be getting stronger and faster with the addition of the new parts. With them fitted. Your buggy will be stronger and faster. Lighter and even more agile then before.

Have fun and the best of luck to all racing.

I'm sorry you have had problems with the M1B. The original was too week as we have said.
But now with the introduction of the new upgrades and in addition all the new parts bought for the M1B, be it either TURBO or not, will be parts made from the new plastic. So these durability problems should be much improved!

I am sure we will soon see large steps foreword due to these improvements.
The 2nd place in the 3 hour race mentioned above is just the start.

You'll see.

I bought the Magic cause I thought the Buggy was innovative and the company appeared to be out for the racer. I got my updated parts kit before I finished putting the buggy together and was very excited on how it would work. They made a big mistake with their plastics and that has got to be one of its weakest links. Also the design of the suspension and the fact that the driveshafts fall out at full compression is a major design flaw. I know that it could be a good buggy but after spending 599.00 for the kit then the other 600.00 I have in parts I am very disappointed with Team magic and am suck with over a thousand dollar bill and a buggy that’s only good as a large paper weight.

I'm sorry dallen that you have suffered and not enjoyed the M1.

Thankfully, we are entering a new era for this car as the car has improved imensly.
I'm sorry this was not soon enough for you. But you are right, the integral design of the car is good.
Now that those issues you mentioed have been addressed. The car is going to realize the potential you yourself seen in it when you bought the car.

Again. Apologies to you for the mystakes made in the past. We have tried to put this right as quickly as we could.

Thanks for the tips!

I'd rather you didn't call my LHS to get them stock parts. I'd rather go to an internet store for the time-being or someone that already carrys the NEW parts.

I'm the only I know for FACT in my city that runs an M1B. Last thing I need is my LHS stocking a bunch of parts, thinking there is a huge demand when there isn't at this time. And I don't want him mad at me that he's stuck with a bunch of parts and I'm the only one buying parts....

I'll try that number below!

Thanks
