Red-Line, Stadium truck is a great class. Although it has died in the last few year's you still have the hardcore guy's (like the one's on this fourm) Who still race them religiously. 1/8 Buggy is my main racing class due to it's popularity and yes it's alot faster to drive and fun to watch, but I have more fun driving my gt2. I too came from on road, and you will pick up the truck pretty fast,as it's like driving with a front one way during breaking. The part's are alot cheaper too than 1/8 scale. Is there a big stadium truck scene at your local track? Or do you have friend's who are going to get into this with you? I have a buddy who talked me into this class a few month's ago,(Thank's Trebor!) And now I've got my buddie's talked into it. Try it out. Im sure youll like this class.
Yes the Buggy and Truggy are popular at are track. We still get 8 to 10 2wd gas trucks every weekend. In our Florida Nitro State Series we always have a A and B main with sometimes a C main. |
