What is a good air filter to run? Also is there a clutch bell that works with the Matrix TR other than the CEN bells?

I've had pretty good success running the stock CEN filter. I've been using Mugen and thunder tiger clutch bells lately as the CEN ones wear a little too fast. I check the mesh the same way and the other brands last much longer.

for anyone interested.. I may be seriously entertaining the thought of Trading my Cen TR ... for a Jammin X1 cr team edition..
My girlfriend has started running 1/8 with me.. and I am going to try to race in the same class to make support for the car easier..

It is the FRE and has allum 22* hubs.. and the steering bell..
as well as a 2s 2t lower rear support and a unused 3s 2t support..
a few spares... front shock shafts and front and rear lower arms!!!

This would be a Roller for Roller trade..... IF the deal is good enough .. I have some tires too.
PM for info..

Sorry to hijack the thread..
and Good job on the win..!!!!

I have new front upper alum turnbuckles for the Matrix TR Arena for sale now.
They are available on ebay. The new hardened cross pins are listed also.

I was running my TR this weekend at my local club. Even with out
playing with my set up at all this truck is handling awesome.
I was out front in my truggy B main when my front dog bone popped out
of the out drive.
My pit man has become very fast at getting that dog bone popped back
in place so I was still able to make the bump up to the A main.
All during the A main I would watch my truck going through our 6 pack
section, almost every lap on the last jump my truck would land, pop
out the dog bone, jam up the suspension and suddenly pop back in and
away I went.

I know the fix for this issue is to place the spacers on the inside of
the knuckle when using 17mm hubs, but what is the fix when you are
using the 23mm hubs ?

Has anyone looked into mounting the Team Losi 8ight T tires on the CEN RTR truggy rims?
I have a feeling the diameter is very similar. Which also means the GRP tires may also fit.
