i just got a few sets of Blue LowProfile Step Pins (LOSA-7762B, currently in stock @ Horizon), and to me they feel a little between a silver and a red - but i'm not sure where they officially fall into the scheme of things. I think, they may have similar rubber attributes to a Pink - where a Pink isnt really harder or softer, just a different "type" of rubber. However, they got suuuper sticky when i cleaned off the bead to mount them, much like the truggy Blues. so whatever that means

I do know, I have run the Blue XTT tires a LOT on my 8T this summer, and the longevity of the blue compound has blown everything else that i've tried, directly out of the water, M2 CrimeFighters, MedSoft Panthers, etc. I'm going to give these blue Step Pins a try this weekend vs. non-LP silvers at a neutral track which i've never been to, so maybe i'll have more info next week...

I have been running the Ballistic pack for about 4 months , works great. just charge it and run it. Not sure what total run time is ,but its longer than 1hour main.

Try this guy out as another option for your Rx pack.

I'm not disappointed with the pack I got from him.

I'm all lipo with the 8's. When I switched by buggy I noticed quicker steering. When I set up the truggy I used lipo from the start. So the faster steering helps to make up for mistakes in the corners. LOL.

If your running DSM stuff you don't need a voltage regulator, but beware ! Cheap servos don't last too long with the highg voltage. I have been running lipos now for 3 years for recievers and transmitters. And the servos have held up great! (Futaba and Hitec) I got myself a Losi buggy and find the battery box is pretty small and requires great attension to get a lipo into ! Unless you buy a Losi one for a $50 bucks

Trebor where have you been racing ? Your missing out Saturday afternoons at ETMR , track is KILLER !
and a bunch of guys have been racing there !

Hi all.
I have an 8eight coming my way in a couple of days, i have just finishing reading ALL 174 pages on this thread, and i begin to wonder, is this the supercar everyone are talking about?

My question is: HOW does this car like to be driven, some says it dont like to be driven hard, that it likes to be driven like a track car? Is this true?
What will it mean that it likes to be driven like a track?

The car handles totally different than any other buggy which is good and bad depending on the driver . Some like it and some don`t . I like it and sold all my other buggies .
