yep used to run flyhweel weights on my 4 stoke dirt bikes. it leaves the torque but will smooth the band out. just think about this, if you start your engine without tires on the car it will rev very fast. you add tires and it smooths the motor out, hince you are adding rotating mass to the flywheel and it smooths the entire range out. the engines also idle better with heavier flywheels because of more rotating mass. it really helps with wheel spin coming out of corners because the bottom will spool a bit slower. it doesn't take motor away just makes it come on slower. all the top racers at crcrc are using them on their 8's sracer included

yes i know losi is coming soon but ours are here now

i am gonna post up some pictures. if anyone is interrested just pm me.

PM me with the info. I would like to order some for our LHS to carry. Pics please. I'll definitly try them and get back with all of you on their performance.
Very interesting technique for slick tracks and big motors.

I believe the only difference is the tires. The roller comes with XBT tires and the kit has step pins. Otherwise they are the exact same.

Freefallmarine-
I went to a 14 tonight to try it out and ran M2 knuckles. I ran the fastest time I have ever ran and did not mis a single beat in the main. It was different but it was more consistant for me. I'll sure be doing it a lot more.
I was faster than Haggard's truggy TQ by 11 seconds.

We are going to Jakes (JCG) on Sunday for full test and tune. You in?? Let me know if you want to come down. Fiock wants to go on Saturday for real racing.

Love to see you bring the Losi down!
