I got one, it lets the chassis move around way too much to be worth anything. Unless they've updated it I wouldn't bother with it.

Hey Chris ,this is Frank,I would check the outer rear hingpins to make sure they are not bent.I would also pull the inner pins out , clean them and the arms with a pipe cleaner or something.The springs shouldn't make it inconsistent. Call me if you have any questions. 474-0514

R40, it is a Rex 3-port. Same thing as the TOP, just a different name on it.

I run Works clutches. They run great. There are about 6 of us at the track that all run these clutches.

I cant answer your question but from what I have seen; the 8 is so darned popular and Losi didnt expect the customers to come flooding in, so parts availability must be scarce. Luckily its a buggy, if it wasnt we'd all need more spare parts....
