Kyosho MP10T Thread
Well here it is..
Nice to see another new Truggy, but this body is just weird / ugly. Looks like a melted Tekno ET body grafted to an MP10 buggy body.

Remember when the losi 8t forward cab body came out and everyone said it was ugly... it only took a few months for everyone to turn out loving it. This body I think will take a lot longer to start liking. Cause it’s ugly.

A better paint scheme will improve that a lot. Plus I think that narrow nose and overall shape may make it a bit more durable. Unless Kyosho is still using paper thin Lexan.

Are they going to use tiny 5x11x4 diff pinion bearings in it like the MP9 / MP10?
Poor choice for 1/8 buggy, terrible choice for the extra stress (and weaker, smaller tooth count pinion) on truggy.

kyosho bearings arnt you're typical xray or what ever other re-brand. 5x11 is fine if setup properly and replaced when worn... the diff case is WAY more important

Happens much faster when bearings are undersized.
Less wrench time = more drive time.

it works for quite a few brands. sometimes big bearings are an excuse for bad quality plastic gearbox's
i've owned and raced with kyosho buggys over the last 13 years and i dont think i've ever seen a pinion bearing fail
uDi_MP7.5, how about we discuss xrays pinion bearing systems over the years? 3 big bearings used to fail all the time, they changed to smaller and not so many issues
actually kyosho proved this with the original truggy/ST-RR, the case was soft and warped with the heat of spiral geears, changed to a harder plastic and straight cut evo gears and fixed itself...

I doubt the bearings will be a failure point. But it is convenient to use more of the same size bearings.
