Kyosho MP10 Thread

what comes in the eight x kit is nothing like what the pros are using, and the quick access diffs on the x are more hard to access and a pain, you can expect a 2.0 version soon.
The mp10 platform will be around for many years, the mp9 was 9 years?
parts on kanai's car once visible are very quick to market - the eight x pros are still running proto parts from after nats to now that are not in the market yet.

some find the kit setup just a little loose but use kanai's setup on FB, bertons or cody kings easy to drive setup
If you dont just "slam " the throttle out of the cornor and pull the trigger like you should the buggy will drive very well.

What's happening with the mp10 front arms?. I had tki4 for the whole time it was out and probably broke 1 arm.
Mp10 I've done at least 4 arms already from soft impacts.
Trouble is I love the geometry and corner speed in the car, which is stopping me putting the mp9 arms and a,b plates on it.

I'm using alloy 17.5 caster blocks with the insert glued in as they flog out without the old support of the top arms. I have tried plastic blocks but they don't have enough precision in the steering for my liking.
Also on the mp10 arms they are offset backwards compared to 9 arms which makes a difference in Ackerman effect and steering feel.
I'm thinking of making the old mp9 top arms fit for more support of the lower arms. Stay tuned

Left upper arm on Right hand side to get correct sweep and all the other mp9 stuff like top deck and tower and upper arm brace. This should work really well in giving the arms and caster inserts the support they need

Anyone tried the T-workz front shocktower? Hows it holding up?
