Many of you Nebraska racers have already heard of the new track but I wanted to get all the information in one spot for you to see! Our Grand Opening is THIS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29TH!!! What better way to take a break from hectic shopping than stopping by the new track for some racing action!

This Saturday we're running a slightly modified schedule than what is listed below. Hours for Nov. 29th are:

Doors open at 10am
Practice starts at 11am
Drivers meeting at 12:50pm
Racing at 1pm!

We'll run two quals and single mains. I'm expecting a pretty good crowd and we should have decent showings for all classes including a new one for us, 13.5t 4wd 1/10th buggy!

We're getting blasted with cold weather but things are starting to heat up at Bluegroove Hobbies & RC Raceway, Central Iowa's newest hobby shop and indoor offroad race track! The track's dimensions are 100'x50' and is home to some of the most beautiful river bottom gumbo black dirt I've ever seen. Rock free and super clean! 40+ pit spots lining the track will be open for use during normal club racing events (reserved spots already sold out for this winter season). The hobby shop will be fully stocked with all major brands of kits, parts, and tires for your racing needs! The normal schedule for winter racing is as follows:

Tuesday night club racing: Practice 5:00pm-6:30pm. Racing begins at 7pm. Two 5 minute qualifiers and single mains (8 cars+2 bumps)

Friday night novice night: Practice 5:00pm-6:30pm. Racing begins at 7pm. Two 5 minute qualifiers and single mains (8 cars, no bumps). Much like was ran at 80/35 Raceway, this night is aimed towards people just getting into the racing side of the hobby and newer racers alike. We will have a 'pro novice' class where more experienced racers can run. If you are an experienced racer there on novice night, be ready to answer some questions and help new racers!

Saturday club racing: Track closed till noon (shop will be open normal hours). Official practice from 2pm-3:30pm. Racing begins at 4pm. Two 5 minute qualifiers and single mains (8 cars + 2 bumps).

Can't tell you the address right off hand without looking it up, but type in "Governor Square West Des Moines" in Google and it's in Suite 100, about a half block off University Avenue. That should get you there-

TBRL has been open now for a few races. Tuesday night we had 60+ entries!

I can say it has been a blast! Come out and race Tuesday nights (opens 3pm, racing at 7pm). Or Saturday (Opens 9am, racing at noon)
