Sheriffs Report
Washington County Sheriff
Posted: Monday, December 3, 2012 2:22 pm

Suspicious activity, wreckless driving, failure to yield: Dec. 4, 9:41 p.m.-
The Washington County Sheriff is asking for the public's assistance in
locating a wreckless driver last spotted in the area of I-680 and Irvington
exit. Deputy Don Morgan's on board dash camera was able to catch footage
of the perpatrator as the high speed chase ensued for several minutes. The
suspect disregarded all respect to authority and was often seen gesturing
out the window. The 6.5" tall, pink hair, blue eyed suspect is known for
flagrant smack talk and should be aproached with extreme caution.

A very cheap Ebay purchase. Had to wait a couple of weeks, but it came from overseas. Took a beating but didn't do too bad.

Have the "official" SCB rules been set yet? The Associated SCB is a very different machine from the Losi.

I'll be interested to see what we end up with rules for Short Course nights since I have a Turnigy buggy (Chinese knockoff similar to the Kyosho buggy) on the way to use for the Novak Race.

I imagine that we'll end up with something very similar to the rules that will be used for the Novak Race.
17.5 brushless
ESC in blinky mode
Maximum final gear ratio

The only other thing that will probably need to be figured out will be if there will be a "Spec" tire for the club racing.

The tires will be open for the Novak race, but it's been the practice to use the Losi eclipse tires as a "spec" tire for club racing.

Yeah, I was looking at going a different route possibly as well and it would be great to know what is legal.

17.5 brushless, blinky mode. Eclipse rear tire. Kit tire on the front.

No final drive for club racing, its just a special thing for the Novak race.

Would eclipse tires be acceptable alternative for the fronts instead of kit fronts?

The Sc10 buggy has skinnier front tires and rims. I think in order to use eclipses on the front you'd have to use a wider rim which would make it too wide.
