I normally run 3 or 4 at big races, and I'm able to qualify ok but then bomb it in the mains.... I think I'll play it safe and run just two. Probably mod 2wd pickup truck, and mod slightly larger 2wd pickup truck with fenders.

I'm subscribed to this post but not getting e-mails for some reason.

Not sure about the concourse idea; I'm just hoping that the rain will stay away that weekend.

Sounds like some guys have you some ideas of what tires are working. The new 3Ds for SC work good too.

Still love these tires just can't use them more than 1 or 2 runs.

Does this mean we can expect the Fro at the Shootout this year??

They haven't built the layout yet. They won't do that till closer to the race. But here is a picture of the track from last Wednesday night:

We are now 42 days away from the Shootout and things are starting to heat up. And no I don't mean the outdoor temperatures; I'm talking about door prizes. We got some nice gear from Kyosho and Hobbico this week as you can see below. Keep checking back here for more updates.

No not this year. When we came up with the classes in March for this race we decided not to include this class since it hasn't existed for years. Currently we do have about 4 drivers that race stock truck for club racing so if it continues to grow we can definitely add it for next year.
