Looks like the sun, moon and starz are in alignment and I'll be up for a bit of short course racin' tomorrow night (6/18/13)!!!
I think I'll bring the 'ol 4 x 4 with; haven't run it in a while and if you're rusty, what better to shake the rust off then the fastest thing you own!!!!

I am trying to convince my wife to let me go race at the Plex before the ShortCourse Showdown. I have to work Tuesday night but have Vacation time available. I was just curious as to what classes are run there? What time does racing start and usually get over with? I would like to run stock Slash and SCB.

If you are coming on a Tuesday night there is pro2, pro4 and scb. I have not seen a stock 2wd other then scb on a Tuesday night. Doors open at 4pm racing starts at 7pm and typically get done around 10pm give or take.

So would my stock Slash be ok for Pro2?

You could race it but may not be competitive.

egobrkr is right , head to head with most other short course trucks the slash is at a bit of a disadvantage, especially in the speed department being stock. But driving skills go a long way, I recall last year Alex racing on a Tuesday night with Emerson’s stock slash and putting a beating down on almost everyone . Talk about a lesson in picking the right lines and consistency.

Zach asked me to post up a copy of his GoPro SCB video! The image quality for such a tiny camera is surprisingly very good!
His buddy Chris (one of Omaha's finest btw!) dropped by to show off his new GoPro. Zach stole it and strapped it in for a ride
Very cool video. Its also very interesting to see the tire behavior and suspension working away. It looks like the buggy is dialed!

Will there be racing on Tuesday August 20th? Thinking about taking off of work early and coming out.
