Ok is there any weekend days available for practice before next winter series race.
#3422
No, sorry. We race something every weekend and can't practice on the offroad when there is a carpet event. The google calendar is correct.

With a high of 25 degrees, what will the temp inside at the track be like sunday?

Newbie Late Model oval question
Looking to build a late model RC. Looking to get a chassis but I'm lost can someone guide me the right direction. What is the "rule" scale 8th or 1/10 used?
I understand you can't modify the chassis. What's a decent motor?
Any help helps!

The CustomWorks Rocket 3 is a great Late Model for 1:10 racing, which is what runs in Omaha. The HobbyPlex sells the Rocket 3 kit. The kit itself does not come with a body, so you will also need to buy that. The most popular body for it is the CustomWorks Mountaineer.
As far as motors go, everyone has an opinion. I like the Trinity D4.

Trinity D4 13.5: http://www.amain.com/rc-cars/trinity...ep1701/p360834
In Omaha the Late Model class is a 13.5T spec class. Other tracks and series around the midwest may run Mod Late Model, in which case you would want a lower turn motor. The MDRA series specs a 10.5T motor for the LM class.
FYI, I would recommend joining the forum at www.dirtoval.com. There you will find a lot more information dedicated to dirt oval racing.
