I glued up the stock tires and drove my Hyper today up and down the street and it is fast. I had no idea it would be that fast.

I ran for about 10-minutes, doing speed runs, cookies and drifting it thru the sand and stuff. My Dynamite 5700 C4 motor was warm, but not hot with a 12 tooth pinion on it.

I'm anxious to get it on a track, so I'm definately bringing it to evansdale this weekend to see how it handles jumps and all that.

Yeah, my truck is almost done too.. Just waiting on my hi-torque rotors and my Fastlane wrap! It looks really nice!

All Grants' truck needs is glued tires and the new motor. Otherwise his truck is ready to rock n' roll.

I've run the slash for 2 seasons now and the one thing I would suggest is captured hing pins. The stock ones tend to back out of the plastic and eventually strip. The captured one pass all the way through the chassis boss and use nylon lock nuts. Hinge pins and practice, practice, practice and you will do fine.
