RC Pro Series Round #3 Omaha HobbyPlex
#61
I was tossing around the idea about not even running my truggy in the pro series. I've had 2 really stupid things take me out of every pro series A main so far. one was my breaks locking up on me because I didn't space my break pads correctly, and second I didn't have my transponder in, but I think someone besides me should have caught that one!
I like truggy a lot, but it is Uber competitive this year, and having to worry about the competition in 2 classes makes concentrating difficult. So I might just stick to buggy this weekend.

Out of two years racing I finally finished my first truggy race down in Oklahoma City RC Pro last month. Granted it was to bump from the B-main but "Hey" I finished. LOL. Plus I made it 28 minutes into the A-main before electronics gave out. I'm hoping to carry the DNF momentum throughout the year. LOL.

Well the truggy has 6 tanks through it. I switched the rtr servos out for a 9100s steering and a 8800s for throttle. Those are the ones I ran in my buggy. We will see I am so pumped to run this weekend.

Here is the track...
Thanks to Kerry for the tractor work on Wednesday.
Kerry, Matt Wilcox, Ben Olson and Tim for helping with the pit lane move.
Ben Olson and Tim Marks for picking up the boards and stuff around the track
Chris Burke, Corey Rutherford and his Father for helping me with the pipe today
And Mack and Scott Riggs for helping to roll up the tarps and get them back to where they are supposed to be.

I drove over this morning and it's gonna be a while before any cars are on it. We got alot of rain last night and it rutted the track out in a few spots real good and there is one area that is underwater. Drained pretty well considering we got alot more rain than was expected. If the sun comes out and it gets as hot as it's supposed to and the puddle gets drained we can probably get on it around 1P.M. or so maybe.
