July 7th 2018 will be the 1st annual Hobbytown Cedar Rapids enduro! We will be using the Tamiya Motul Autech GTR TT02 kit (TAM58625)
The kits will be handed out at 9am and the build will be on. Bodies will be precut and painted. Motor and ESC are included in the kit. Once the kit is finished you may practice until the 6 hour race starts at 1pm. The starting lineup will be based on order of kit completion. Your team will keep the car after the race.

SERVO, RADIO/RECEIVER, 2 WIRE TRANSPONDER, CHARGER WITH DEANS LEADS, AND TOOLS ARE REQUIRED

3 or 4 person teams (Max of 10 teams)
$200 entry fee includes: Fast Eddy bearing kit, 2 Gens Ace 5000mah batteries, and trophies for top 3 teams
You may send entry fee via PayPal to the hobbyshop or pay in store.

This is an outdoor race on concrete so a rain date will be posted soon. Hopefully will not be needed. Teams must run the stock kit tires for the 1st hour and then the Gravity USGT tires will be allowed as an option

We still have a while until raceday (81 days if anyone is counting) but a few points that have been brought up that needed to be covered.

• Completion order of your teams kit will not only determine your starting position but also your teams quick pit area location and corner marshaling position. So finishing the kit fast will make a big difference on how your day will go.
• Kits will be handed out at 9am sharp and all cars and batteries must go through pre-race tech before the race starts at 1pm.
• The kit will have to be built to the manual spec's using the parts in the box. No pre-building of any kind allowed.
• Once your teams car has passed through tech, you may practice from then until the track closes at 12:45 for drivers meeting.
• There will also be a designated area for cars to be picked up and set down during pit stops.
• We are also going to enforce rough driving with lap deduction or pass through penalties, if necessary.

Entry payment deadline is this Saturday! If your team hasn't paid paid please pay in store or PayPal the store at ([email protected]) We still have spots open. Bodies have been painted for the teams who have already paid.

We have been testing these cars the past few races and have decided we are going to allow teams to use 1 30mm fan for the motor. The kit comes with the mounts, just need to bolt one on. If you don't have one the hobby shop has them in stock.

The tire rule is staying the same. Stock tires for the 1st hour, then have the option to run Gravity USGT. Cars, batteries, and tires must have passed through pre-race tech by 12:45 on raceday. Once through tech, teams have open track for practice.
