the rule change wouldnt effect you guys till 2011....unless someone is running a carpet track in the M, this fall?

alot of tracks are just going to eliminate adv esc's..not the 21.5's...run your GTB,Havok123, or AI LRP and have some close racing....

or if most of your locals have adv esc's allready, leave it alone....please the majority of your die-hard VTA racers 1st...and worry with the rest later

Default Idea for 21.5

Ok someone may have already mentoned this but I know alot of people have concerns about not being able to use there 21.5 motors with the rule change. I also know some people like the curent speed of the vta class and that 17.5 is a bif step up from vta. so i was thinking maby we colud start a 21.5 touring car class. the speed would be similar(little faster) to vta. people could still use there 21.5 motors and vta class can be what it was intented to be and people would not have to choose to slow down or speed up and we could still use the 21.5 motors that we all have instead of putting them in the closet. because with the new rules we wont even be able to sell them. Anyway just a thought would like to hear everyones feed back on this. Before anyone says it I know I cant spell and I have a lot of runon sentences. so tell me what you think

the new rules wont effect you guys until summer of 2011...I wouldnt get to wrapped up in them either, due to the fact that they are solutions being made across the country that are keeping the racing close and slowing the cars down....

the USVTA has stated that these rules are more directed to indoor carpet tracks...and for USVTA events.....the solution many of us are finding and working is just turning the boost/turbo of on adv esc....or maybe just using Havoks,GTB,Lrp TC-AI, or older non-adv esc....

I think Q and some others are on the right path with the class...just follow their lead....

Default Rule Clarification?

If we run 21.5 gear ratio is 5.2 to 6.0.

If we run 25.5 gear ratio is 4.2 to 4.6.

Visable tread at the start of qualifiers and main no more slick VTA tires.

NO BOOST and 200 software on Tekins

LRP setting 4

No HACKING

NO WHINNING

NO COMPLAINING ABOUT THE FAST GUYS BEING FASTER THAN YOU.

Default Strange VTA weight.

With the CURRENT USVTA minimum weight rule being set at 1450g, and the ROAR VTA minimum weight rule also being 1450g. Why are we running a 1550g minimum weight rule at MSRA events?

I would like to have this weight rule be the same at Mid America Raceway and MSRA events so people dont have to keep changing their cars, but Im not convinced that 1550 is the way to go just yet.

So I so again,,, Why are we running a 1550g minimum weight rule at MSRA events?
