Where have you guys been mounting your transmitters at on your Slash? I just got a transmitter and am trying to think of the best place to mount it

Are you referring to a personal transponder?
If so, mount it as low as possible to save cg, probably with servo tape. I don't have one to look at, might be a few screw holes somewhere that will work as well.

RGraves-

I have mine mounted in the area in front of the receiver box. It is mounted flat on the chassis with servo tape. Works for me.

You can also get a 6" Servo extension. Run in thru the Receiver Box and then you can mount your PT right behind the shock tower. There are two attachment points on the chassis where you can attach the PT with screws

I didn't see any problem areas at the track tonight when I came through town. What if anything that we get here in the next 24 hours will make the difference.

Hey guys dont know if I can make the first race but I was wondering how do the 8th scale buggy and truggy classes look. Do you usually have a good turn out for those two?

Watching the weather, not sure any of us will make the 14th race
All joking aside, the 8th buggy and truggy classes are always our most supported group. Have always had great competition in those two. If not this weekend, hope to see you on the 28th!
THanks
David

As much as I hate to do it, we are going to have to cancel the March 14th opening day race at the Bullet. It is still raining/sleeting and with temps not expected to get out of the 40 degree range and more rain, we would do more damage than good trying to run. We will watch the weather, and if all looks good, we may have a Test day next saturday to run the track in a little before the March Madne$$ race.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, again I am very sorry
David

Sad news but good call on the cancellation. I'll do whatever to help get the track ready to run on next weekend. The long range forcast looks good.
