Default Help!

Hi, we got our son a remote control stunt car for Christmas and he has managed to get it wet - which caused it to stop working. Any tips on how to fix water damage?

The car is a Vortex stunt car.

One sad 10 year old on my hands!

Take out all batteries, and take apart as much as possible electronics wise so it can dry out!

Lightly use some WD40 and compressed air to get all the nooks and crannies. An individual component could be put into bag of instant rice, oatmeal, etc. to wick out moisture.

That is a toy grade. Unfortunately, they are cheap crap and it is unlikely to work again.

Its small enough to put in a bowl/bucket full of dry rice, if it's fixable that will do it.
