Yeah i have been seeing these diffs on Facebook. There are some people who are product testers and have been using these. So far the feedback is positive. Cant wait for them to be released and give them a bash...

Pretty cool! Although the stock diffs are tough as nails already. I’ll probably at least pick up centers fo my MT410 and ET48 because every now and then I get rocks stuck...and the case gets all chewed up.

How much and are they really needed ? Also, all 3 of these are strictly for the MT410 and come preassembled?

These HD diff cases will have more than twice the fluid capacity while using stock internals. Testing has shown very significant temperature drops, in some cases up to 80 degrees, along with much more consistent handling. Pricing hasn't been released yet. They will fit all Tekno 1/8 models. This is for the case only.

How long would it take to change out all 3 on the mt410?

Will (HD diff cases only) be out late January and price is unknown as of today. Question, is it worth the time to change out all 3 diffs with these???

If all 3 are more than $60 I'd be surprised. I haven't serviced mine yet but being it is a "racer" it should take more time to fill the diffs than take them out. Is it worth it? Up to you if one of the if not the best diffs out there need an upgrade.

As much as I like to have the best (and I have the best of everything on my MT410), I'll probably pass on these. Being that the stock ones are some of the best going, why change

Yeah i have heard of people having the center diff burn up, and these new cups hold more diff oil so they will eliminate that. I have never had that problem, only heard of people having this issue.

Then again, i have only had my MT410 running for a couple weeks...

Does anybody on here use the universal fit dusty motors cover for their MT410? If so, what do you think and which size did you choose?

Awesome! The medium + a good fit? Any issues with temps?

Thanks for the response!

I went smaller and it did not fit well. The M+ is the best fit. No issues with temps here :D

chainsaw10 12-20-2017 06:18 AM

Any of those covers will absolutely raise temps. Whether it’s an issue depends on how you drive, outdoor temperature and motor/esc selection. So if your temps are already on edge this will hold even more heat in.....and let less cool air flow directly onto hot surfaces.

Thank you for your response. Seems for now like a have some thermal headroom but have only been able to test in 50f ambient temps. Just barley over 100f on a hobbywing 4274 2250kv running 4s on proline shockwaves geared 44/16. ESC is hobbywing XR8+ which didnt even break 90f. This was after a very hard 20+ minute bash.
