New from M2C Racing! 7075-T6 Aluminum Rear Chassis Brace, anodized black. This fits the ET48/Truggy/extended length chassis only. It does NOT fit the standard length MT410 chassis.

If I'm only ever going to run 4S should I run a 4076 1700kv motor or a 4076 2000kv motor?

And then what pinion gear would be good?

Not looking to get huge top speed or anything, but looking to run reliably with good temp ranges.

Can anybody help me out and point me in the right direction?

Thanks

4s run the 2000kv. I would run a 16-17t pinion depending on what size tires you choose and what temps the motor ends up at.

I plan on running Proline 40 series Trenchers. So about 6.89" or 175mm according to the Proline website.

You will need extenders for those. They are mounted on zero offset wheels.

Ok. Thanks for the heads up. With this size tire do you think I should stick with a 2000kv motor or move to a 1700kv motor?

Badlands:tire:

The Tekno rep recommended Shockwaves and Badlands (not the MX). There was a discussion earlier in the thread about the 40 series Trenchers. I decided to go big with the Super Swampers. Maybe RCWERKZ can weigh in on his garage full of tires he tried on ;)
