This rig needs it's own beefier body posts, the SCT410 posts are really small :-( maybe tekno is listening.. this isn't the first case of these breaking that I've read.
I found them on amain and tower. I ordered them and the desert milita body that they don't make any more either. Atleast we can still get them. Not sure why proline discontinues products so often.

That would be the sensor cable that pulled out causing a cogging noise, all fixed and ready for more pain - fun

With this durability, I can't make myself take advatage of Tekno's 50% warranty for replacement parts. With teh carnage I see every weekend at the track, I just can't complain.

Don't get me wrong, there have been some hits that make me think I had to have broken something, and didn't. Then there are times I'm shocked to find something wrong during rebuild.

Bottom line. Tekno made a MT, which is a true basher. Welcome ALL bashers to the machine you've all wished for. You can now play more than you fix stuff.

And savage Sam, You can sure put that thing through it's paces. with the throttling out to marshal yourself though, keep an eye on your diff outputs, and shafts. They take a beating, and hold up to some wear, but that's brutal. LOL
Thanks for your concern, I've also been racing the tekno product for over 2 years now in buggy and truggy and understand the products really well, keeping an eye on everything while pushing the limits of the truck, I got a few more days of gruelling punishment installed for the rig and then I will post a complete report on this amazing kit, stay tuned

I put the smc 1900kv in the mt today. It is much better now way more controllable and smoother. I can tell it lost some top end but nothing too crazy much easier to roll into the throttle now but will still wheelie without much effort. I still want to give the smc2100kv a shot. I think that will be perfect.

I just ordered this kit. What is a good grease to use? I know it comes with some grease but I want to purchase some for future use. I've used mobil one synthetic grease in the past but I'm not 100% sure it doesn't have adverse affects on plastic and rubber.

This is the nicest kit I've owned and I don't want to put anything on it that will hurt it.

What are you using the grease for?

The instructions in the mt410 kit call for greasing various parts like the differential outdrives, some oRings, etc.

Also calls for greasing the differential ring gears.

Stuff like that
