any exeperience with kershaw designs products ?
Asked on another forum about kershaw's conversion kit for a Savage xl nitro to electric and got answers from 2 guys who insist kershaw is junk and the only viable option is alza racing at 3 times the cost and 3 times the shipping delay.
Anyone here have experience with Kershaws products ?

Kershaw.Dan.
He custom made my Maxx CF chassis. He does average work and is reasonable.
I did over a few things.
The truck has been through 3 motor systems since.
THAT was 10 years ago. He may have gotten better.
Better tools.More experience.
He also sells parts.

No experience with Dan's Savage kits. But his motors are great and the E Maxx parts have worked very well. Great customers service and a heck of a nice guy. Shoot him an email and he'll give you the straight scoop on his products, Have never caught Dan in a lie.

What mudbug said!
No experience with Savage stuff but I have a Rampage XBE conversion I bought from him and love it. He is very good to deal with.

Never had experience with kershaw, but alza stuff is a work of art it's worth the money. I've ordered twice from him. The cd for my flux and the bulkhead brace conversion. Both times they took a week to get to buffalo,ny. I see the op is from upstate ny so you will get the same shipping times.

I have to agree with mudbug. I ran the Dual Revolver setup on my E-maxx, and it was really a nice upgrade over bone stock. Ran it on 2x2S lipo and there was a big increase in power. No experience with a Savage, but the quality of my setup was good and he has good communication. No complaints here.

His customer service is poor. I've purchased a few things from him and he never once responded to any of my emails. One of the products showed up 2 weeks later even though it said in stock on his website. One of the products was the wrong size and I just didn't bother contacting him.

The brushless motors they sell are just rebadged Leopards you can get cheaper on other sites.
I have dealt with Kershaw a couple times, and had a Kershaw Chassis Revo.
Customer Service is not the best, products are OK. I doubt I will ever order from them again.
The one custom piece I asked him about he gave me a very high price quote, silly high.
