Default rd logics wolverine

any you guys seen or heard about these? i bought one brand new for 300.00 bucks at local hobby shop, and looks to me like a savage........it's colder than you know what here, and i have only ran 1 tank through it since break in, and seems to be legit.............i went w/ it not only for the price, but i'm thinking that alot of parts will interchange w/ the savage....only down fall is you have to get parts either from hobby store(which they have to order or from rd logics), and they don't currently offer any hop ups.......does come w/ threaded shocks and is a cool anodized gold color....will post some pics.......just wondering if anyone has had any experience or heard or read anything about them...i bought this one mainly to bash w/..........some of the things i like about it are, everything on the front is identical to the back, i.e. , the hub carriers, shock towers, bulkheads etc.....and it seems to be tough, it jumped up on the curbs w/ no probs and handled decent......but the real test will come soon after i have installed my ko radio gear.....it comes stock w/ airtronics blazer, and well, enough said about that..............will let you know how it does, and try to post some more feedback....any you guys have a savage you could take some close up pics for me? i would like to compare to the wolverine....i emailed rd logics and they said that parts should interchange but i should check fit.....(duh)........course, could'nt really expect them to tell me to go out and buy hpi parts instead of their's now could i? thanks!

LHS manager brought one out to our rack last year and was testing it to see how well it did.

it seemed real cheesy compared to a savage side by side, but he fired it up and ran some laps with it.

it was waaaay to stiff for our track and needed alot of little stuff done to it like throttle/brake set up but for the most part it made for one helluva basher.

the 27 it came with wasnt the greatest but jesus did it scream didnt have one prob. with it.

after 5 tanks of fuel on the track with everyone trying it it was on its lid more than the wheels the only damage was the body

noticed it was stiff, spun around EASY on the pave........only probs i had, was the brakes.......not much adjustment........tap the brakes and it would flip over frontwards........will fix that when i get the ko installed, so i can fine tune brake end points etc........what throttle brake setup mod did they do? thanks for the info.

took it out today........did good, jumped, rolled, traction rolled, all out speed, several endo's......lots of fun , nothing broken .......ran four tanks , and did quite abit of bashing around on a farm and broke nothing.....the handling sucks, but, i think w/ some mods it will do fine.............overall pleased w/ the performance.....definately not a race truck........but did not expect anything less than a cheap basher.........will try to get some more pics next time i take it out.........
