I just measured mine and it's 73mm long

Holy crap thats a big motor. Is that a tattoo? If you can you could always make your own mount and mount the motor higher towards the top of the spur and put the battery under it

Yeah, I'm thinking about buying a dremel and making my own mounts from now on. I know a guy that has a tig welder for welding aluminum. Aluminum is a soft enough metal that can be bent just can't bend it too sharp or it will break. And yeah I have a sleeve tattoo on my left arm

I didn't think it was longer than a 1515, that's why I did a quick search and grabbed the measurements from a vendor page. Either way only the 1512 2650kv is shorter than your motor. Glad we got that cleared up! Lol

Final configuration. It's tight, but it all fits under the narrow Proline 50 Chevy P/U body.

Cool. And Brandon i dont have a dremel what i do it get 1/8th inch aluminum, cut it with a hacksaw, bend it to a 90 degree angle with a vice and hammer drill a 1/2 inch hole for the pinion then drill the other holes mount the motor, mesh the gears and drill through the chassis and bolt it. I did that on my brothers electric tmaxx he bought for $100 so that there was room to put a battery

That's a good looking truck. But I put my truck through the mess. I rip it through parking lots and ride 100' wheelies. That battery pack and the wires coming over the top are too close to the spur gear for my liking.

I do like the battery holders though. Is there a link to get those? I need to lower my center of gravity and I have an idea for those

Just get Velcro straps and bolt them to the chassis

Velcro loses its ability to vel to the cro after awhile. Those are made up words but you know what I mean. I want my batteries secured and protected. I'm gonna try to devise a way to mount them on the bottom of the chassis

All i did to mount the tranny was cut a few aluminum peices and bolt them down. If you want room to mount your batteries on the chassis its not hard to mount the 3905 tranny

Hey brandon you should just get an emaxx tranny ill link the ebay shop i got mine from later. If you want i can mail you peices of aluminum like the ones i cut so you can mount it all you would need is a drill. Also how did you make your battery mount

Either the Ofna or the Hobao SCT trucks use a similar tray that stands the battery on its side like that. That may be them in the pics of the Supermaxx but I'm not 100%

I was suggesting it to save room to lower your center of gravity. I bought it mainly cuz the tranny i got with the truck the gears could have almost been bushings they were so smooth plus after the slipper clutch and foc and single speed conversion it would have costed more
