Thumbs up A custom QUAD engine Nitro Sled Puller

Haha I saw this and my mouth fell open lol. With a single nitro roughly putting out from 3-5HP each, depending on cc, wow! You better be good at tuning nitros lol.

Don't believe the manufactures HP claims. Back when XRC was in business they had a real time dyno made for the engines. Engines that were claimed @3.5HP were actually closer 1-1.5HP at the flywheel. This is still one hell of a custom.

Cool, thanks for the heads up, because sometimes I see wildly varying claims. I would love to hear this thing run lol.

Yeah a good offroad .21 is usually around 1.2hp. 1.5 if it's a good mod, well tuned with the right pipe. Onroad .21 might hit a touch over 2hp. A good offroad .28 is probably only 1.5hp as well but with more torque.

But we have another problem. I don't see four tuned pipes on this thing. If it has some simple exhaust on it, they are going to make a LOT less power.

Still, it's a pretty awesome build. I would like to see some good pics of the throttle linkages on that thing.
